General Information:
The 2004 USPSA Rifle Rulebook will be used for the 2007 Bay Area Rifle Championship.
The 2007 BARC will be scored as a stand-alone USPSA Rifle match in EZ-Winscore. We support the following Divisions.
Semi-Auto Open
Semi-Auto Tactical
Semi-Auto Standard (Limited)
Manual Action Open
Manual Action Standard
All Divisions (Open, Tactical, Standard & Manual Rifle) will follow the equipment and scoring rules exactly as specified in the 2004 USPSA Rifle Rulebook.
The IPSC Classic target (Turtle) will be utilized as the standard paper target to tighten the A zone up a little (we ARE shooting rifles, right?). Specialty steel targets will include a wide variety of MGM targets products. The "infamous" MGM Precision Rifle Target, MGM Lollipoppers, MGM Colt Speed Plates, and their famous pendulum style Rifle Flash Targets will all be in use.
Manual & Cowboy Rifle:
Manual Rifle Divisions will follow the 2004 USPSA Rifle Rulebook equipment specifications for Manual Action Open & Standard divisions.
Sporting Rifle competitors will compete in the USPSA Manual Action Open Division
Cowboy Rifle competitors must meet normal SASS equipment specifications with their rifles and will compete in the USPSA Manual Action Standard Division.
Manual Rifle competitors will only need to shoot one round per paper target compared to the two round minimum typically in place for semi-auto shooters on paper targets. Two of each single hit recorded per paper target will then be entered behind the scene in stats to force one hit per paper target to fit the EZ-Winscore input requirement of two hits per paper target.
Limit On Rounds Loaded: The standard limit on number of rounds loaded at start, or during the course of fire (5) will be in effect for all Manual Rifle competitors.
Note: Any rifle without a working safety that prevents the hammer/striker from falling when the trigger is pulled must start with an empty chamber whenever a loaded chamber start is allowed.

| These specifications are a work in progress and could possibly receive some tweaking as we sort out the stage designs and test some of our ideas. We hope to make this match fair and friendly to all comers, so if you have any suggestions please Contact Us with them. |
